I am a Grand Canyon fanatic. I first went there twenty years ago and keep going back.
On my last trip, I backpacked down the South Kaibab trail, hung out at Phantom Ranch, camped out in Bright Angel Campground, then packed back up the Bright Angel trail the next day. It was my first time backpacking to the bottom and back. I wasn't quite ready for it, but will be next time. I'm already planning my trip next year to hike rim to rim.
